Work Description:
Construction of deep gravity sewer to carry flows from the Juffair and Adliya areas including new capable Lifting Station besides the EWA building . The proposed project will resolve the surcharged condition of existing network. The project comprises Main Trunk (1,016 m Micro tunneling and 965m open cut trench), one number of 10m deep new lifting station, decommissioning of existing lifting station and connection of new network with existing lifting station.
The Scope of works consisting of the following:
- Ground Investigation
- Demolition and Site Clearance
- Earthwork including shoring works (Sheet pile & Secant pile)
- In Situ Reinforced concrete
- Piping work (Open cut & Micro-tunneling Method)
- Construct Manhole & chamber
- Road works
- Lifting station
- Decommissioning of existing pump station and convert it to Manhole
- Connect new line with existing manhole
