Sports Day
On February 1st, The Nass Group and Nass Corporation organized a comprehensive sports day for their entire staff, encompassing all divisions and departments. The event was coordinated by the Well Being Committee of Nass and featured a wide range of activities tailored to appeal to the diverse interests of the employees, including fitness and endurance challenges as well as team-based entertainment.
Hand & Finger
Injury Campaign
On the 21st and 22nd of January, Nass Commercial, a division of Nass Corporation, collaborated with Coverguard to launch the “Hand and Finger Injury Campaign,” which aimed to raise awareness about the importance of safety in this critical area. The campaign saw participation from HSSE Managers and leads from Nass Corporation, highlighting the organization’s commitment to prioritizing workplace safety.
HSBC - HSBC Sustainable Business Accelerator Program Award for CEO of Nass Corporation
On February 7th, 2024, Nass Corporation’s ESG committee members met with Jennifer Chammas, the Regional Head of Sustainability and Sustainable Finance at HSBC, to celebrate the organization’s achievement of completing the HSBC Sustainable Business Accelerator program and to present an award to the CEO of Nass Corporation. The program, administered by Diginex, provided support to Nass Corporation in developing its ESG strategy. Mr. Andries J. Van Wyk, the ESG Chairman, praised the program’s focus on ESG excellence and acknowledged its significant contribution to refining Nass Corporation’s approach to ESG strategy.

On February 21, 2024, Nass Corporation honored employees from various sectors with the prestigious Golden Hardhat Award for their dedication to the “Together to Zero Harm” initiative. Our CEO Mr. Shawqi Alhashimi personally lauded the winners for their outstanding efforts. Mr. Nigel Hector, Construction Platform General Manager, expressed his pride in the diverse nominations, highlighting the widespread commitment to safety across the team.
