The Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Recreational Park epitomizes a harmonious blend of urban planning and leisure amenities, meticulously crafted to enrich the community’s lifestyle. Commissioned by the Ministry of Municipality & Agriculture, and meticulously overseen by MSCEB, this transformative project stands as a testament to architectural ingenuity and environmental stewardship.

Site and Development Area:
Spanning an expansive site area of 79,000 square meters, with a development area of 67,000 square meters, the park offers a sprawling canvas for recreational and leisure activities.
Buildings:
The park features an array of concrete-framed structures with masonry walls, premium finishes, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, ensuring optimal functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Key Facilities:
- Food Village: A vibrant hub comprising five food outlets, accompanied by dedicated Ladies’ and Gents’ prayer rooms, and public toilet facilities.
- Restaurant Block: An elegant structure housing a main hall, kitchen facilities, and restroom amenities, offering a refined dining experience.
- Arcade Block: A dynamic space featuring an indoor games area, storage facilities, public toilets, and two retail shops, catering to visitors of all ages.
- Viewing Tower: A majestic 45-meter-high tower equipped with a staircase, lift, two viewing decks, and a canopy, providing panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape.
- Café Block: A serene oasis offering a main seating area, kitchen facilities, and restroom amenities, ideal for relaxation and social gatherings.
- Jetski Station: An integrated facility comprising an entrance lobby, first aid room, change room, office space, and electrical room, facilitating watersport activities with efficiency and safety.
- RO Plant & Storage Block: Essential infrastructure housing the main RO Plant room and Jetski storage facilities, ensuring the park’s operational continuity and resource management.
- Ancillary Buildings: Supporting amenities including a substation, cycle renting shed, security block, entrance canopy, and ticket booths, enhancing operational efficiency and visitor experience.
Marina and External Works:
The park’s marina features meticulously constructed breakwaters, stone walls, GRP pontoons, gangways, and a fuel filling system, ensuring a safe and convenient maritime experience. External works encompass a plethora of landscaping elements, including hard and soft landscaping, landscape mounds, colored concrete walkways, water bodies, fountains, gazebos, pergolas, children’s play areas, a skate park, and comprehensive infrastructure for water supply, drainage, irrigation, and electrical works, including street lighting and garden furnishings.
