Project Description:
The project involved the comprehensive upgrade of the Bahrain Map Junction, transitioning it into a state-of-the-art two-level junction complete with a strategically positioned flyover. Key highlights of the project include:
- Construction of seven-span bridges, each featuring three-lane carriageways on either side, meticulously designed to ensure smooth vehicular flow and optimal safety.
- Development of associated slip roads to facilitate seamless ingress and egress from the junction, complemented by essential services and roadworks to enhance functionality and durability.
- Implementation of a dual pre-stressed post-tensioned bridge, engineered with precision to withstand the rigors of daily traffic and environmental factors.
