Scope of Work:

The scope of this transformative project encompassed a comprehensive range of tasks, meticulously executed to elevate operational standards and enhance the airport’s capacity:

Taxiway Works:

  • Full Construction of Taxiway and Shoulders: Impeccable construction of a new taxiway and shoulders, incorporating sub-bases, cement bound materials, and five layers of asphalt, ensuring robustness and longevity.
  • Modification of Existing Taxiway: Precision modifications to existing taxiways to accommodate evolving operational requirements and optimize traffic flow.
  • Rerouting of Existing Services: Thoughtful rerouting of existing services to facilitate uninterrupted airport operations during construction activities.
  • Installation of New Service Ducts: Strategic installation of new service ducts to support essential infrastructure and utilities.
  • Pavement Markings: Clear and precise pavement markings to guide aircraft movement and ensure safety on the taxiway.
  • Taxiway Lighting: Implementation of state-of-the-art taxiway lighting systems to facilitate safe navigation during low visibility conditions.

Associated Works:

  • Widening of Service Road: Expansion of the service road to accommodate increased vehicular traffic and support airport operations.
  • Construction of New Service Road: Meticulous construction of a new service road to enhance accessibility and logistical efficiency within the airport premises.
  • Installation of Chain Link Security Fence: Deployment of robust security measures through the installation of chain-link security fences, ensuring perimeter integrity.
