Project Overview:
This project marks the culmination of efforts aimed at upgrading the Isa Town Gate Junction roundabout to a Grade-separated junction, featuring an Overpass/Underpass structure and a meticulously designed signalized junction at grade, all while ensuring seamless integration with existing utility arrangements. The project also involves the relocation of an iconic landmark structure.
Scope of Work:
Road Works:
- Excavation and filling utilizing Type A and B materials.
- Construction of road bases and infiltration basins.
- Installation of ditches, block paving, footpaths, and corrugated crash barriers.
- Civil works for electric infrastructure, including high mast foundations.
- Drainage system installation, encompassing pipeline laying, manhole constructions, and gully installations.
Viaduct:
- Concrete works for pile caps, columns, and stitch concrete.
- Balance casting and erection of precast segments.
- Partial stressing and grouting of erected spans’ tendons.
- Installation of bridge furniture such as bearings, expansion joints, and bridge parapets.
- Waterproofing measures to ensure structural longevity.
Underpass:
- Excavation and concrete works for pavement slabs, retaining walls, and in-situ deck slabs.
- Partial stressing of erected I beams and installation of ground anchors.
- Establishment of a pumping station for storm and sewage water, including design.
- Waterproofing and finishing works to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic appeal.
Isa Town Gate:
- Provision of power supply to panel boards, including capital contributions to relevant authorities and the installation of ceremonial plaques.
Other Works:
- Temporary works associated with traffic diversion and soil nailing to facilitate project execution.
